It's Ok Thursday

I'm linking up with Amber today for an "Its Ok" Thursday.

Its Ok...

...that I'm on my second  (20 oz) cup of flavored coffee already this morning

...that I did a happy dance after I got on the scale this morning (-4.4 since last week)

...that I still haven't packed for my trip this weekend (hopefully the coffee I'm enjoying this morning will kick in during the wee hours of night while I'm packing)

...that I'm still rockin my Essie "Turquoise & Caicos" on my toes even though the color is definitely a summery color

...that I might get admitted to the hospital today due to a very infected bug bite from a poisonous spider (I find out at noon--please pray I don't)

...that this post is going to be short and sweet because I need to reread the cases for my next class (Crim Law)

...and that I'm leaving you with this song (that has quickly become one of my favorites):

Happy Thursday Friends & Thanks For Reading

  1. Oh my gosh. You got bitten by a poisonous spider?!!? Please let us know how you're doing, okay? Sending prayers your way!

Also, coffee is a necessity. Every amount is okay. :)

Anndddd, how did you manage to lose so much weight in a week?! Teach me your secrets.

    2. As far as the weight, I think some of it (from last week) HAD to be water weight. However, I was very very honest with the myfitnesspal app (which is free) on my iPhone. I also tried to drink more water than diet coke (which is why I'm guzzling coffee), and weighed myself more than I should (I know this can be unhealthy--however it really keeps me in check and motivated to keep going, or to be better). If you want me to go in depth with what I'm eating/workouts send me your emails--and I'll shoot those your way!!!

  5. Love the It's OK list, what a great idea! Might steal this one. I hope the spider bite is not a hospital-admittance situation. How awful!! So sorry.

Way to go on the weight loss, always nice to see the scale going down.

  6. Rock that Turks and Caicos! And as far as the spider is concerned, Peter Parker turned out all right. And on the brightside…if you somehow magically were given super spidey powers perhaps the ability to stay up sans caffeine might be in the cards as well :)

  8. Thank you for your comment on my post yesterday; I agree that college football is preferable to NFL. I think they play with more heart and pride to their team. I love cinnamon cocoa, but more in the winter than the fall. How'd your spider bite situation work out? I said a prayer that it wasn't an issue! Have a good weekend!
